Two IDF soldiers wounded by explosive device in Jenin
An IDF officer was severely injured, and an NCO was lightly injured when an explosive device was detonated during IDF counterterrorism activity in the area of Jenin, the Israel Defense Force stated.
According to Army Radio, the troops were conducting a preparatory reconnaissance mission ahead of the establishment of a permanent military outpost inside the Jenin refugee camp.
The soldiers reportedly identified a suspicious object and picked it up, leading to the explosion.
