Two Arab-Israeli soccer teams open match with minute of silence for terror victims
A training match in Israel between Hapoel Umm al-Fahm and M.K. Kfar Qassem – both Arab Israeli athletic teams – opened with a minute of silence in memory of the Israelis killed in the brutal Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7.
A member of the association board, Muhammad Abu Alam, who is the chairman of the Committee for the Promotion of Arab Society and the Periphery and chairman of Umm Al Fahm, stated:
“In a joint decision of myself and the owner of Kfar Qassem, Mr. Bilal Badir, and out of great pain that doesn’t stop, we expressed the deep partnership and unity of all of us in a symbolic act, I wish us all know good and beautiful days, Arabs and Jews alike.”
