12 advanced US F-22 fighter jets land in Israel
Twelve U.S. F-22 Raptor fighter jets landed Tuesday afternoon at an Israeli Air Force base in southern Israel, part of Washington’s regional force posture, Kan News reported.
The F-22, considered among the world’s most advanced stealth fighters, is designed for deep penetration missions, including the suppression of enemy air defenses and radar systems.
The deployment may reflect U.S. confidence in Israel’s air-defense readiness, particularly against missile threats, based on recent operational experience.
