Turkey: NATO forces intercepted an Iranian ballistic missile launched toward us

NATO forces shot down an Iranian missile over Turkey in the eastern Mediterranean, the Turkish Ministry of Defense said today.

Missile debris landed in Hatay, Turkey without causing casualties. Ankara warned regional actors that it reserves the right to respond to any hostile action.

The missile flew over Iraq and Syria, aiming for Turkish airspace.
