Trump weighed renewing war with Iran but chose diplomacy - report
U.S. President Donald Trump considered resuming military operations against Iran to “finish the job,” but ultimately decided against it in order to preserve the chances of dismantling Iran’s nuclear program through diplomacy, The Wall Street Journal reported.
According to the report, Trump weighed returning to military action before concluding that continued negotiations offered the better chance of achieving the administration’s objective of ending Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
