Trump warns of harsher response after strikes; Iran vows retaliation
U.S. President Donald Trump said the latest American strikes were retaliation for attacks on commercial vessels, warning that “if it happens again, the response will be far more severe.”
Meanwhile, Iran's chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, responded to the overnight U.S. strikes by warning that Washington “has not learned that bullying and breaking promises come at a price.” He added, “If you attack, you will be attacked.”
Ghalibaf also said the Strait of Hormuz “will be reopened only through Iranian arrangements, not through American threats.”
