Trump: US in 'deep talks' with Iran; officials claim 'significant progress' - report
"We are in very deep talks with Iran. If they don't work out, we will go back to very strong military action," U.S. President Donald Trump told the news outlet Axios after a three-day pause in strikes between the U.S. and the Iranian regime.
He added that he won't give the talks "much time," saying, "either it goes fast or not at all."
Meanwhile, two regional officials told the Associated Press that mediators continue working to bridge the gaps in talks, with one official noting that "significant progress" had been made in the mediation efforts.
