Trump: ‘There’s not a lot of fighting in Gaza,’ Hamas willing to give up weapons
U.S. President Donald Trump said Hamas is now willing to disarm and that there is relatively little fighting taking place in the Gaza Strip.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump praised U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for their work on Gaza.
“Witkoff and Kushner did a great job. Look at Gaza, for example. Look at the fact that we got all of the hostages back. People forget that,” Trump said.
“There’s not a lot of fighting in Gaza. Hamas is now willing to give up their weapons. They’ve done an amazing job,” he added.
