Trump: Israel was hit and chose to strike back; I don’t blame Netanyahu
U.S. President Donald Trump said he does not blame Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the developments of the past two days, arguing that “Israel was hit and decided to strike back.”
Trump said he had a good conversation with Netanyahu and reiterated that Israel and Iran had agreed to a ceasefire through his mediation. He also said the Strait of Hormuz would reopen immediately under a potential agreement that could be signed within two or three days, adding that Iran would not possess nuclear weapons under the deal.
