Trump: I didn't need Netanyahu to have intel on Iranian nuclear site
Ahead of a meeting between them planned later today in Washington, D.C., U.S. President Donald Trump sounded a critical tone toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, criticizing him over reports that Israel transmitted intelligence showing that Iran is fortifying a nuclear site.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump said Netanyahu wants to bring up Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain site only because “he wants me to stay involved," noting he didn't need him for intelligence on the Iranian nuclear site.
"We have the finest cameras in the world, we know exactly what's going on. Why can’t you just tell me? Why’d you have to tell the world? I know exactly what's going on, it’s not a big problem,” Trump emphasized.
“We took out their nuclear sites, and we’ll have to take out Pickaxe if they don’t make a deal.”
