Syria blames Israel for airstrike that injured two Syrian soldiers
Two Syrian soldiers were injured in an airstrike near the city of Deir al-Zour on Monday night, according to Syrian media outlet SANA, which blamed Israel for the attack.
The airstrike took place shortly before midnight and hit a Syrian army position, which resulted in some material damage, according to reports.
This strike comes just two days after another airstrike, also carried out by Israel, which reportedly hit an Iranian weapons shipment on its way to Lebanon, according to the Times of Israel.
