Smotrich: Israel has no interest in joining US-Iran conflict
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Israel has no interest in joining the military confrontation between the United States and Iran, arguing that "the current situation is the best possible."
Speaking at the Katif Conference for National Responsibility, Smotrich added that Israel's ultimate objective is to weaken and destabilize the Iranian regime, "to the point of its collapse"—a goal he said does not necessarily align with that of the United States.
