Six years after Abraham Accords, Israeli UN Amb. urges expansion of peace
Israeli UN Ambassador Danny Danon marked six years since the signing of the Abraham Accords on Tuesday, emphasizing the need to expand the circle of peace despite the region’s recent challenges.
Danon said the accords “proved that the Middle East can change when leaders choose courage, peace, and cooperation,” crediting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump.
“This is the future of the Middle East,” he said, adding that “we must continue down this path and expand the circle of peace,” despite the region’s current challenges.
