Six injured in clash between Jewish settlers and Palestinians
Three Palestinians were wounded on Monday by gunfire from Jewish shepherds near the settlement area of Anatot in the Binyamin region, according to reports.
Stones were reportedly thrown at the shepherds, and one of them opened fire, saying he feared for his life. Two Palestinians, aged 62 and 30, were seriously injured and evacuated to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, while a third, 33, was moderately wounded and evacuated by the Red Crescent. Three Jewish individuals were lightly injured and treated by MDA teams.
Earlier in the day, six settlers from the “Kol Mevaser” outpost arrived near the Palestinian village of Mukhmas, where stones were thrown at Palestinians and left-wing activists, causing damage to a vehicle. The incident was reported to police in real time, but no arrests have been made so far.
