Shooting attack in Benyamin district kills one
A 30-year-old Arab-Israel citizen from Jerusalem was killed this morning, Jan. 7, near the British police junction in the Benjamin district.
The IDF, Israel Police and medical services arrived at the scene. A search for the suspects is being conducted.
After performing medical examinations, Magen David Adom medics and paramedics were forced to pronounce the 30-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds.
The Benjamin District Council said the incident was likely a terror attack and said a vehicle, apparently used by the terrorists, was found abandoned at the scene.
Security services closed the entrance and exit to Ramallah while conducting the search.
