‘Shalom, Salam, la Paix’: France to host two-state solution meeting in Paris
France will host an international meeting on June 12 focused on the two-state solution, Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said on Thursday.
In a video on X, Barrot said the meeting would provide an opportunity “so that Israeli and Palestinian civil societies can make their voices heard.”
Recalling France’s recognition of Palestine as a state last September, Barrot said the meeting comes a year after the Paris Call for the Two-State Solution last June, and will be hosted on the eve of the G7 summit to be chaired by France this year.
