Several Israelis detained after crossing into Syria
Several Israelis crossed the border into Syria in the central Golan Heights on Thursday and were removed from Syrian territory by IDF forces.
They are expected to be handed over to police. The same group attempted to cross from Israel into Syria on Wednesday night, was detained by the IDF and transferred to police custody, but was released overnight. On Thursday afternoon, they returned to the border and crossed into Syria again.
