Senior Iranian military official signals readiness to close the Strait of Hormuz
A senior official in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared today that their forces are prepared to seize control of or close the Strait of Hormuz "at a moment's notice."
The threat coincided with reports from Iranian media that the IRGC Navy has concluded a multi-day maritime exercise in the Strait of Hormuz that began on Monday.
