Senior Hamas commander killed in Israeli airstrike
Midhat Mubasher, the commander of the West Khan Yunis battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization, was killed in an Israeli airstrike, Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security agency announced on Friday morning.
Mubasher was known for his involvement in attacks by sniping and setting explosive charges against IDF forces and Israeli settlements.
The IDF added that over 250 targets of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip were struck overnight, among them terrorist tunnels, operational headquarters and rocket launch positions.
