Security guard lightly wounded in terror car ramming north of Jerusalem, terrorist shot
A civilian security guard was lightly wounded when a terrorist attempted to ram his car into the guard at the Kalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Thursday.
According to the Israeli police, the terrorist was shot and apprehended, and will be investigated.
The victim, a 32-year-old man, was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem to be treated for leg injuries.
The checkpoint was closed following the incident and a large police force is currently present on the scene.
