Saudi channel Al-Hadath: U.S. tells Iraq Israel plans major operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon
Saudi channel Al-Hadath reported Monday that, according to its sources, U.S. envoy Tom Barrack conveyed a message to the Iraqi government stating that Israel intends to carry out an operation against Hezbollah in the near future — one that would continue until the organization is fully disarmed. According to the report, Burke warned Baghdad that Israel would respond with a severe strike inside Iraq if pro-Iranian militias attempt to intervene.
