Saudi Arabia to UAE: 'A red line — withdraw your forces from Yemen'
Saudi Arabia issued a sharp warning to the United Arab Emirates, calling its presence in Yemen “a red line” and demanding the withdrawal of Emirati forces.
The Saudi military said it carried out an overnight airstrike on Tuesday in southern Yemen as part of the escalating tensions between the two countries.
According to the statement, the strike targeted weapons and vehicles supplied by the UAE to forces in southern Yemen. Saudi officials said no casualties were reported in the attack.
