Rocket salvo fired at Tel Aviv for first time in a week, no injuries reported

Four rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward the greater Tel Aviv area on Tuesday afternoon, with one rocket being intercepted by the IDF, Israeli media reported.

The other rockets fell in open areas. The Magen David Adom rescue service reported no injuries or direct hits on buildings as a result of the barrage.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the rocket launch, the first attack on Tel Aviv in over a week, and the first set of rockets fired from Gaza in over 24 hours.

Alarm sirens were activated in southern Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Bat Yam and Rishon Letzion, as well as in Kfar Chabad and Beit Dagan, close to Ben-Gurion International Airport.
