Report: thousands of Iraqi Kurds launch ground offensive into Iran

The U.S. network Fox News reported, citing an American official, that thousands of Iraqi Kurds have launched a ground offensive into Iranian territory.

According to the report, the Kurdish fighters crossed from Iraq into Iran, opening a new front amid the escalating regional conflict.
