Report: Iran opposes transferring its uranium abroad, dismantling nuclear facilities
The Wall Street Journal, citing Iranian state media, reported that Tehran has rejected the idea of transferring its uranium stockpiles outside the country. Iran has also opposed ending uranium enrichment, dismantling its nuclear facilities, or accepting permanent restrictions on its nuclear program.
However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told local TV that today’s round of talks in Geneva held with the U.S. was “one of the most serious.”
