Police have successfully identified 808 Israeli civilians killed in Hamas attacks

In a joint operation of Israel Police, Israel Defense Forces, the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Forensic Pathology and volunteer organizations, Israel has been actively working to identify the victims of the mass murder attack by the Hamas terror group that began on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 7.

At the time of posting, Oct. 26 11:35 a.m., 808 casualties have so far been identified at the Shura Camp Collection Station for the slain in central Israel.

This number of casualties represents about 84% of the civilians murdered in the Hamas invasion whose bodies were brought to the camp for the purpose of identification.

So far, 701 fallen IDF soldiers have been transferred for burial.

The Shura collection station was established hours after the outbreak of the war, and hundreds of bodies of murdered civilians were transferred to the facility since.

In addition, the police have said that some bodies are so disfigured by the violence and burning that identification may not be possible.
