Police confirm cancellation of Mount Meron celebration
Israeli police officially announced the cancellation of the Lag B’Omer celebration at Mount Meron, in line with Home Front Command guidelines and a decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Authorities began blocking access roads to the area on Sunday morning to enforce the cancellation and prevent large gatherings.
