PM Netanyahu exits court hearing to discuss approaching new Gaza flotilla
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left his ongoing court hearing to hold a security consultation on an international flotilla of some 60 vessels and around 1,000 participants that is en route to the Gaza Strip, Israeli media reported.
A second large-scale "Global Sumud Flotilla" set sail from Sicily two days ago and is expected to reach the coast of Gaza over the weekend.
The first flotilla of some 40 vessels was intercepted by the Israeli Navy in October 2025. Like the previous time, organizers have declared they plan to “break the blockade on Gaza.”
