Plane carrying Libya’s army chief crashes, all passengers killed
Senior Libyan military officials, including the chief of staff, were on board a private jet that lost contact shortly after taking off from Ankara following a meeting with senior Turkish security officials.
The aircraft’s wreckage was later found in Turkey’s Haymana district. Turkey’s interior minister said the plane had requested an emergency landing before contact was lost.
