Peace Council chief warns Israel’s Gaza shelter policy is ‘unacceptable’ ahead of winter
Peace Council Director-General Nikolay Mladenov warned that Israel’s current approach to providing shelter in the Gaza Strip ahead of winter is “unacceptable,” Kan News reported Thursday.
Speaking at the UN Security Council on Wednesday, Mladenov raised concerns over weather conditions and their potential impact on Gaza’s population. “Winter is already approaching, and Israel’s current policy regarding the provision of adequate shelter is unacceptable,” he said.
