Opposition outlet reports Mojtaba Khamenei is in critical condition
IranWire, an Iranian opposition media outlet, reported on Friday that rumors are circulating that Mojtaba Khamenei is in critical condition and could die at any moment, citing two sources close to the Iranian president’s administration.
No cabinet members have met with Mojtaba Khamenei so far, one of the sources close to President Masoud Pezeshkian’s administration said, adding that it would not be surprising to hear of his death soon.
The report has not been independently verified.
