On his final journey: Last hostage Ran Gvili's funeral procession begins
Nearly two years and four months after his death and abduction on Oct. 7, Master Sergeant Ran Gvili will be laid to rest today (Wednesday) in his hometown of Meitar, north of Beersheba in southern Israel.
Gvili's body was identified on Monday as part of the IDF Operation "Brave Heart" in the Al-Batash cemetery in the northern Gaza Strip.
