Netanyahu warns: If Iran attacks Israel, response will be unlike anything it has seen

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran on Monday that Israel would respond with unprecedented force if Tehran attacks, amid rising regional tensions.

Speaking from the Knesset podium, Netanyahu said Iran “will not return to what it was,” referencing the protests in the country and accusing the ayatollah regime of killing thousands while crushing a “heroic struggle for freedom and justice.”

Netanyahu also addressed domestic criticism over U.S. President Donald Trump’s insistence that Qatar and Turkey be included in a proposed Gaza peace council, saying no Turkish or Qatari troops will be deployed in Gaza. He acknowledged a disagreement with Washington over the council’s composition.
