Netanyahu meets Trump envoy Kushner in Jerusalem to discuss Gaza peace plan
The planned meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump’s top aide Jared Kushner started in Jerusalem, an informed official has told The Times of Israel.
Kushner, as well as Board of Peace senior envoys Nickolay Mladenov and Tony Blair, arrived in Israel after meeting the senior Hamas leadership in Egypt on Sunday.
According to the official cited by TOI, the meeting focuses “moving forward on all the elements [of the plan] that we can," rather than aiming at gaining an official Israeli approval for the Board of Peace's 15-point framework that Netanyahu has publicly rejected.
