Netanyahu: Israel will maintain security control from the Jordan River to the sea, including Gaza
Israel will maintain security control in the entire area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a press conference on Tuesday evening at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.
He also said he had always believed that military and diplomatic pressure would lead to the return of the hostages and noted that he had withstood both domestic and international pressure to accomplish this.
Addressing the issue of Hamas disarmament, Netanyahu reiterated he agreed with U.S. President Donald Trump that it would happen “the easy way or the hard way — but it will happen.”
