Netanyahu: Israel may join investigation into attempted attack on flydubai flight
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would closely follow the investigation into the apparent attempt to crash a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv and could participate directly in the probe.
Asked during an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity whether there were indications of Iranian involvement, Netanyahu cautioned that it was too soon to draw conclusions.
“It’s too early to say,” Netanyahu said. “The attacking pilot is now being investigated in Saudi Arabia. I think he’ll be taken to the Emirates, where he comes from, or at least where he left, where he flew off from, and we’ll be following and possibly also participating in this investigation.”
