Netanyahu files pardon request with President Herzog
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has filed a request for a presidential pardon with President Isaac Herzog, the President’s Office confirmed. The request, submitted through Netanyahu’s attorney Amit Hadad, has been transferred to the legal department for review.
The President’s Office described it as an “exceptional request with significant implications,” adding that Herzog will consider it “responsibly and with due seriousness” after receiving all relevant assessments.
