Netanyahu condemns violent protest at home of Supreme Court justice
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned the violent protest targeting Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, after ultra-Orthodox demonstrators opposing the conscription of yeshiva students gathered outside his home in Alon Shvut.
The protesters reportedly caused damage to the property and smashed a window of Sohlberg’s vehicle. Police detained around 50 suspects at the scene.
“I strongly condemn the violent riot against Justice Noam Sohlberg,” Netanyahu said, adding that law enforcement authorities must “fully prosecute the rioters to the fullest extent of the law.”
