Netanyahu and Katz announce IDF strike in Beirut’s Dahiyeh after Hezbollah fire on Israel
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the IDF is carrying out strikes in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district in response to Hezbollah attacks on Israel.
The announcement follows continued Hezbollah rocket and drone fire toward northern Israeli communities. Israeli officials have repeatedly warned that attacks on Israeli population centers would trigger strikes against Hezbollah strongholds in southern Beirut.
