Environmental Protection Minister Idit Silman said that the judicial system should be investigated first, while Eli Elbag, whose family was affected by the events, harshly criticized the move, saying, “I have no words to describe how shameful this is.” The decision has sparked renewed controversy over how the state should investigate the failures of October 7.
