Liberman denies secret meeting with Bennett ally: 'Lies, fabrications and fiction'

Yisrael Beitenu chairman Avigdor Liberman denied reports that he held a secret meeting with a close associate of former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, calling the claims “lies, fabrications and fiction.”

Speaking to Kan Reshet Bet, Liberman said there would be no alliances within the opposition aimed at undermining one another, adding that opposition leaders agree on the goal of replacing the current coalition.

Addressing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s opposition to the 15-point Gaza plan, Liberman said there was a gap between the government's statements and its actions, claiming that forces on the ground had already received instructions to withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
