Lapid predicts Eisenkot will join alliance with Bennett within weeks
Former Prime Minister Yair Lapid said he expects former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot to join his political alliance with former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett within the next few weeks.
“Another two or three weeks, maybe a little longer, there will be a festive and happy press conference where we announce that Gadi Eisenkot has joined us,” Lapid said.
The remarks come amid efforts to consolidate opposition forces ahead of the expected national elections.
