Khalil al-Hayya named Hamas leader in Gaza - report
Khalil al-Hayya has been selected as Hamas’s leader in the Gaza Strip, according to a report by the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar.
The report also said Zaher Jabarin was appointed as the senior Hamas figure in the West Bank, while Khaled Mashal will serve as the group’s top official abroad.
