Judea and Samaria 2025: Data shows 80% drop in terror, sharp rise in nationalist crime
The IDF Spokesperson said Monday that terror incidents in Judea and Samaria fell by 78% in 2025 compared to 2024, according to an annual Central Command report.
Firearm attacks dropped by 86%, while preventive counterterror activity rose by over 25%, including about 3,500 arrests, the seizure of 1,300+ weapons, and the confiscation of NIS 17 million intended for terror.
The report also flagged a sharp rise in Jewish nationalist crime, with about 870 riot incidents in 2025 — up 27% year-on-year — prompting the creation of a joint IDF–police–Shin Bet task force using tougher measures such as vehicle seizures and electronic monitoring.
Fatalities also declined, reflecting lower intensity: 20 Israelis killed in 2025 (down from 41 in 2023) and 240 Palestinians (down from 504 in 2023).
