Jordanian military interceps 20 Iranian missiles targeting Al-Azraq area
The Jordanian military stated that its air defenses and Air Force "intercepted and downed 20 missiles launched from Iran toward the Al-Azraq area in Zarqa Governorate at dawn today."
The Iranian regime had claimed to have attacked U.S. bases in Jordan in response to U.S. strikes in Iran earlier Thursday.
"The Jordanian Armed Forces are closely monitoring regional developments and maintaining the highest level of readiness. They are operating with full preparedness to protect the Kingdom’s airspace and national security, and will not allow any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party," the military stated.
