Jordan recalls ambassador to Israel over Gaza destruction
The Kingdom of Jordan recalled its ambassador to Israel on Wednesday night.
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry also informed the Jewish state that Israeli Ambassador to Jordan Rogel Rahman should not return to Jordan.
Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said the decision is “symbol of Jordan's strong objection and condemnation towards the Israeli wartime activities in Gaza, which is killing innocent people and causing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.”
The foreign ministry said the ambassador should not return until the invasion is over.
