Israel's Diaspora Minister calls NYC Mayor a 'Hamas sympathizer' & 'Muslim Brotherhood Islamist'
Israel's Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli blasted the new Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, after he announced a series of controversial moves seen as anti-Israel in his first hours in office.
"Not healthcare, nor the cost of living, nor the middle or working class. On his first day in office, Hamas sympathizer Zohran K Mamdani makes his top priority loud and clear: targeting and harming the Jewish community by repealing the IHRA definition of antisemitism and New York City’s anti BDS order," Chikli wrote on X.
"When a Muslim Brotherhood Islamist whose slogan is “Globalize the Intifada” takes control of New York City or London, these are exactly the decisions you get. History is clear. When Islamists gain power, Jews are the first target and never the last," he added.
