Israeli security forces arrest two Hamas terrorists deep inside Israel two weeks ago
Israel’s internal intelligence and security forces, Shin Bet, cleared for publication on Monday that two Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israel from Gaza on Oct. 7 were arrested just two weeks ago, having been found deep inside Israeli territory.
The terrorists were arrested in the city of Rahat by undercover forces of Israel Police and transferred for further investigation.
Rahat is a city in southern Israel, some 10 km (a little over 6 miles) north of the city of Beersheva, and is populated by Israeli Muslim Bedouins.
