Israeli official says Gaza ceasefire Phase B contingent on return of slain hostage Ran Gvili
A senior Israeli official said Israel will not move to Phase B of the Trump plan until the return of the last fallen hostage, Ran Gvili.
The report added that searches for Gvili are set to resume after being suspended due to Storm Byron, which struck Israel and the Gaza Strip over the weekend. Israel has conveyed to the mediators that Hamas and Islamic Jihad know Gvili’s whereabouts.
