Israeli FM Sa’ar: Facing our enemies’ global information war, Israel needs far greater investment
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Israel faces a major challenge in the battle for global perception. “Our information campaign is immense,” he said, noting that the Foreign Ministry brought 15 times more delegations this year but that “the state must invest far more.”
He said this effort requires investment “like in aircraft, bombs and interceptors,” adding that current resources are “far from enough.” According to Sa’ar, the military pressure Iran and its proxies sought to impose on Israel “has shifted into an attempt to impose a political siege.”
